Hi there!
It’s Nezrul Hisyam here from Karungwang and I would like to “Welcome!” you a library full of short notes. But don’t be deceived by the size of the notes. I promise you that every word, every paragraph and every line is laden with lessons.
All these lessons came from my personal experience; all the things that I’ve gone through.
I strongly recommend you pay close attention to it.
How it begins?
It begins with a desire – finding ways to automate income.
Back then I was influenced by Entrepreneurs, especially R. Kiyosaki and Business Philosopher, namely Jim Rohn who drum the ideas of buying more assets and spend time building business.
Jim said,” Think about it. If you want to have a hobby, why not make it building a business?” I buy into that.
Plus…
At that time (early 2000), Malaysia was bombarded with a new income generating method: Earning USD in Pajamas. It was made popular by Sen Ze and I like the concept. I BELIEVE in the concept.
I thought, ”He’s a Malaysian, and if he can do it so CAN I!”
Our Prime Minister at that time, honorable Tun Mahathir also promotes “Malaysia BOLEH!”
I was fired up.
I set myself my first minisite.
I did a very, very basic keyword research and I end up with the domain name ‘karungwang.com.’ I host it on the same port where I bought my domain (now I KNOW that this is one of my BIG start-up mistakes) 
And I thought I can turn it into ‘money-sucking’ minisite promoting other people products i.e. affiliate.
Boy I was wrong!
I need to educate myself first.
Now, I admit that this is the BEST start-up decision I ever make; to get myself an education.
First, I bought an online course from Jim Daniels.
It was a cool course done on Camtasia, with this funny cartoon character ‘lecturing’ me about building an online Biz.
Well, I was impressed for a short while.
After that I went to Seminar. In fact in the same year, I went to 2 seminars (both about 6 months apart).
What happen after 2 Seminars?
Let me cut it short.
The best LESSON is: craft your OWN way to success.
Seminars and speakers can only impress you within that given time span be it 8 hours or 2 days.
To make sure your money spent was worth it, you need to take action; YOUR OWN action.
No matter what they said, you are your best JUDGE of your progress.
And before I stop, here’s a BONUS best lesson:
What matter MOST is your MARKETING. It’s not your product or service.
