Just A Few Hours Left To 2008

Monday, December 31st, 2007

Hey there,

As I’m writing this post, it’s less than 12 hours before the New Year 2008.

I know I shouldn’t be. I know I’ve gone through this so many times. But I can’t help feeling a bit nervous because 2008 brings many BIG events for me.

Allow me to share a few of them…

First, there’s a New Career.
I’m not too sure about this yet but it looks like I have to get myself a new career. Well, a new temp JOB actually. I need a temporary form of back-up funds before my Online Business venture can really flap it’s wings strong enough to take me into orbit.

Second, newer, more directed focus.
I’ve said it once and I’m repeating it…”it’s the lack of focus that bring about the consequences I’m in now.” It’s obvious that I need new target to focus on, new tools to help me to do it better (better ‘telescope’ maybe), and stronger conviction with what I’m doing.

Third, new and improved support system.
I’ve been messing around with the wrong crowd for the past few months. The outcome of it was far from impressive. What they said about choosing the kind of people you ’surround yourself with’ is true. And to be a winner, I need to be very careful to surround myself with winners.

But winners, like advise, can come in many forms. Some are cheap while others cost you arms and legs. Some appear to be a winner, and they actually build their foundation like sand castles. One big swipe of the puny wave is enough to crumble them.

And if you have any idea, events, or tips to share here on how to choose a winner, I’ll be more than glad to hear about it. I’m sure a bunch of other folks love to hear ’bout them too. So, go ahead and share them. All you need to do is simply type them in the comment box below. That’s it.

Since it’s New Year, and I can’t meet you on the street, grab your hands or give you a big hug on this joyous occasion, I’m wishing you “Happy New Year”, and do accept my small New Years Gift just for you.

Happy New Year friends…

3 More Days To New Year

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

What's your New Year's ResolutionHey there,

3 more days to 2008…

So, how are you feeling?

If you by any chance had joined any MLM meetings, you’re supposed to answer,”GREAT!!!” (I put 3 exclaimation marks so that you know how ‘big’ that is)

Really, how are you feeling?

Many things happened just before 2007 leaves us behind (the latest is Benazir Bhutto’s asassination) and I’m wondering what could happen in the next 72 hours.

It reminds me of Jack Bauer’s 24, aired on AXN, and the promo voice ask all viewers,”Will you trade your 24’s with his?”

Putting TV series, political unrest, and what-not have you aside, the MOST memorable event that took place before the year ends is the recent flood that hit few districts in Pahang, Malaysia namely Rompin, Pekan, and Maran.

To me personally, this year’s flood serves as a powerful reminder, or a warning if you will. Why? It goes out to show that no matter how advance we think we are, how prepared we think we are, how modern we think we are, there are ‘Superior Forces’ that does not follow our rules.

IT has it’s own rule…

Not only that, we ALWAYS have to go by IT’S rule despite our intellect, advancement, or technology. None of that matters.

As we leaving all this behind, obviously, we’ll bring something with us to next year. I’m bringing tons of ‘unresolved’ issues with me to next year. In fact, I can forget about coming up with New Resolution. I’m not cut for that. Not just yet.

Just to share ’some’ of those ‘tons of issues’ with you (under broad categories):

* Financial issues
* Relationship issues
* Family issues
* Role issue
* Mind issue
* Spiritual issue

…And to be honest, MOST of the issues got something to do with my ‘One-year’ independent plan, my age - my daughter and me, and my grand “Financial Freedom’ plan. There’s so much change going on, and my change management scheme needs tuning up.

But the solution, the MAIN solution to all these, was simply to FOCUS. This is what I lack of ths year.

Well, all those tasks, and deadlines makes me feels like a new juggler (get my drift here?).

Anyway, I believe you already have your next year’s plan. Maybe you’re like me, just bringing the leftovers from this year to the next. Or maybe, you just drop everything and do something totally different. Whatever it is, do you mind sharing a thing or two with me here?

Who knows, we might learn a thing or two from each other. Just leave your thought in the comments box.

I appreciate that.

A Small Token Of Appreciation

Karungwang Christmas Gifts

Hey there,

According to my calendar, it’s another 3 more days to many of my fellow friends BIG day - The Big ‘C’ day…

…’Christmas Day!’

And that also means New Year is just around the corner. But first thing first.

I’m taking the opportunity on this coming festival to share my token of appreciation to all of you, whether you’re a frequent this blog or this is your first time, I want to add your joy, hopefully, by sharing with you 1…2…3…4 gifts.

There are many ‘unfavorable’ things happening back home now; flood, despair, and depression, but I’m taking the lead from a few others:

- A rich merchant back home, whenever he’s depressed, and need an uplift, what he did was he took out his check-book, and write a check to his favorite charity
- My close friend, even he’s not yet rich, will always donate an amount not less than 10% of what he earned, and he said that he always feel calm after he does that
- And for me, knowing that I put giving above anything else, makes me feel confident that everything is enough for everybody. I’m thinking abundance…

Go ahead my friends, download the gifts and have a more enjoyable Christmas.

Happy Holidays! :)

Here’s the download link:

To Your Enjoyable Christmas,
Nezrul

P.S. You may find that these gifts are more valuable if you’re doing online business or Internet Marketing but there’s no restriction really to what these gifts could be used for. Everybody can find merits to any of those gifts as long as they’re open about it.

Hey there,

Most of you are either half-way to ‘La-La-Land’ or are deep in NREM sleep (Non Rapid Eye Movement). But I’m still writing this piece before I hit the sack.

What’s the ocassion?

It’s Eid. Eidul Adha to be exact…

While close to 3 millions people in Mecca are at their peak days of Hajj, other Muslims all around the world celebrating Eidul Adha.

I thought I go into the details behind Eidul Adha but I decided this post is enough.

It’s enough to say that Eidul Adha is about sacrifices…
It’s enough to say that Eidul Adha is about compassion…
It’s enough to say that Eidul Adha is about putting others first…

Maybe I’m not the first to send geetings for Eidul Adha to you. But hopefully this greetings is the FIRST thing you see here.

That’s my simple way to say that I’m putting you first :)

So…

… Muslimin, Muslimah, Mukminin, Mukminah…

“Happy Eidul Adha”

I Know How To Focus But Do I Know How To Handle Distraction?

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Stay focusHey there…

If you’ve been following my previous post, I shared with you a thing or two about what keeps me on my foot currently, or should I say, what I’m focusing on now.

I did also share the source of my focus inspiration.

Then I realize a universal fact, that many knows what to do BUT not many knows what to do about things that keep them away from doing (you might want to reread this…I did :)

In other simpler words; how to handle distraction.

I assume you already know how to focus (read this guide if you don’t). Now let me share with you ways to stay focus by avoiding distractions.

Handling distraction #1: Have a clear focus point.

Now, I’ve shared one thing I’m focusing on. And that would be the first thing I recommend you to have to avoid distraction. Have a clear focus point. The keyword here is clear. A vague focus point won’t help you at all.

Handling distraction #2: Have a reminder.

To keep you on track, a reminder proves to be very useful. It could be as simple as a piece of stick on pad on your computer monitor or it could be a bit techno like a multimedia hand-phone reminder. It’s up to you.

As long as you can keep yourself on track, that would do.

Handling distraction #3: Have supporting partners.

This to me was the hardest part to get done with simply because I like to work alone but with all the communication channel available, I can get a partner who send me emails, SMS, etc. and remind me of my current project.

They do keep me on track.

There you go. 3 simple things I highly recommend you to have to avoid distraction. I do recommend them because I’m having them myself.

Otherwise, I won’t share.

Hope this help :)

I’m Busy With This

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

I am buzyHi!

I want to share a thing or two about my latest obsession lately. Apart from ranting about the flood and all, this thing takes up MOST of my time. And when I say most, it means close to 24 hours…

I slept just a few hours everyday (on average 3).

I know. A study published in Readers Digest, Mens Health, and Prevention talks about laks of sleep and quality of life. The study even go to the extent to demontrate that lack of sleep directly linked to obesity!

Heck! I’ve no complaint about that…when I AM a few point above my ideal BMI (that’s Body Mass Index), xx overweight, and having waist circumference close to 38! I know…I know…

And I’m doing something about it; right after I finished with this project…Hah! :)

So maybe you’re wondering,”What kind of sane person willing to sacrifice health and longevity over something else? What could that something else be?”

I’m telling you, what I’m doing now is consistent with my ‘Value Hierarchy’.

“What’s that - value hierarchy?”

It’s a term coined by Tony Robins (since I got this from his book: Awaken The Giant Within) and what it meant was simply a list of values; your life values, listed in order of priority.

It means, you have your ‘I’m-willing-to-die-for’ value at the top, and ‘I-can-do-without-that’ at the bottom. I only pay attention to top 10. Not to say I ignore the rest, but paying attention to these top 10 was enough to keep me on guard all the time.

I haven’t answer the question, have I? Right…

Answer: I’m doing something to conform to my highest value: FREEDOM!

Freedom is top on my list.
Freedom is what I’m willing to die for.
Freedom is what I constantly strive and aim for.
Freedom is what I want others to have and experience.
I am made for freedom!

And by now,by our standard of today, freedom comes in many forms. But the most prominent form is ‘financial freedom’.

Now I’m in my early 30’s. I’ve spent nearly 1/3 of my whole life, to learn and build my financial freedom. Yes, financial freedom is like the house of the three little bears - I have to build it, and build it strongly so that the wolf can’t bring it down in a huff nor puff.

But my foundation is being tested as we speaks…

I’ll save that story for later but for now, I only focusing on a single thing, at this moment, as an effort to build the foundation for my financial freedom which is through Internet Marketing or Online Business.

Yup, we can argue untill the cows come home that focusing on a single stream of income is not only dangerous but insane! Thanks to Kiyosaki, Robert G. Allen et.al, the notion of multiple stream of income has become norm.

Even a Secondary school student is talking about multiple stream of income (and we have their active MLMers parents to thank to)!

Of course, having a multiple stream of income is ideal. I realize that. And that was the VERY reason why I got involved in IM now. I was heavily influenced by Robert G. Allen ‘Multiple Stream Of Income’, and both Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen ‘One Minute Millionaire’.

Both talks about Internet Marketing…

I remember my mother-in-law asked me about my vocation, and all I could explain to her was I’m selling something online.

I spare her the explanation of the whole Internet Marketing arsenal. I know she’ll be confused. And so will my friends. Some of them, even though are very familiar with computer and internet, go blank when I mention IM.

Some thought I promote pyramid, or illegal money scheme, and thought of chipping in!

I got a few, very few actually, friends who involved in IM. I learned a big success SECRETS from them. And I want to share it with you here.

The secrets is: Focus. Focus. And Focus some more.

That’s it! It eliminate frustration because we pay attention to only one thing or one step or one product or one program at a time without having to feel left behind. And just like I was influenced by Tony, Robert G., and Mark V. before, now I’ve found new source to look up to.

This report is responsible for my laser-like focus today…

And of course. Focus alone is not complete without a point to focus on. And I am working extra hard to focus on a proven IM - online business model.

How will it turns out?

Maybe I’ll let you know…provided I’m not BUSY.

Enough said. I want to get busy now…
