Why Use Article?

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

Hey there,

Taking the lead from my post yesterday, let me share with you why use article for your Resale Rights and Affiliate program promotion. I’ve done all these myself so I truly believe with every words printed here.

1. Showcase your expertise.

Before you even type a single word for your article, consider carefully your niche and whom are you promoting to. If your answer is EVERYBODY then, you still got a lot to consider.

‘Everybody’ is not a good enough target. Your target MUST be tighter than that. So consider your niche carefully then, and only then, write your first article.

I have one article written and submitted to Ezinearticles.com. I focus my article on answering this question: Why Sales Rep Is Needed More Than Ever Before Today?, and it was targeted to ‘would be’ Pharmaceutical Sales Rep mainly new Graduates, college students or those whose considering making a careeer change.

What that article do was to direct people to my blog where I have posted tons of quality information including resume samples, CV samples, etc. to help them get started.

That brings us to the second ‘why’ of using article, which is…

2. Relevant and ‘easy’ to digest content.

When I look for information on the Net, and found it, I won’t spend my whole day trying to make sense from what I’ve found. In fact, if the info looks like my previous Science Textbook, I’ll put it aside for later (and later could take a few days…months…even years).

If I’m doing this, I believe, probably millions of other Net users are doing the same thing: looking for relevant and easy to digest content. And article fit into these two criterias perfectly.

For example, review article of a certain product submitted to article directories is perfect if someone is looking for ‘product+review’, typed into the Search Engine search box. I’ve done this dozens of times for product like Blogger Adsense Guide, DIY Minisites, etc. (Go ahead and type those term in Google search box with open and close quotation mark [”"])

Whenever you have ‘new’ upadates for your relevant subject, with article, you can make this updates available in no time with a new submission. And this gives you a boost for your affiliate or resale rights promotion because…

3. Search Engine loves new and updated contents.

Blogs are nothing but frequently updated contents, mostly in the form of article.

If you are promoting as an affiliate or you’re promoting your own resale right products (MRR or PLR), writing article and then pointing the visitors to your offer through your author resource box is very effective.

I’ve done this too an I understand if someone said,” I write dozens of articles, submit them to directories religiously but I’m not seeing a single result from it. Why I’m not rich yet?!!”

Believe me, I know how you feel. I’ve felt the same anxiety everytime I post a new article, I’ve sit in awe wondering why such a few clicks come from it, and I’ve frustrated soo many times seeing my ‘raw click vs. unique clicks’ are so damn low after all the effort…

I’ve felt all that until I FOUND a much, much better way to do article marketing combine with the power of Wordpress blog, of course. Now I know what I got to do everytime I want to promote an affiliate program or my own Resale Rights for my chosen niche.

First time I read the report, I caught myself doing the wrong ‘choosing-a-product to promote’ way. Now I know how to choose better.

Next, when I wrote article to promote the product, I’ve found myself writing ineffective heading or simply ‘boring’ format. That does not attract readers to read my article. Whatmore to click on the resource box! So I got that figured out and rectified.

But that’s not all…

What about template design? What about article submission? What about the submission interval? What about where to submit? What about optimization?

If you don’t want to miss out on any of this or if you simply want to do them better and more effective…

Hype Or Trend?

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

I want to share with you something right off the bat…

I notice a pattern building up ‘healthily’ in these two areas:

1) Article marketing
2) Social Media or Web 2.0

Why I say so?

* I got an email yesterday from John Leger (7 dollar script ‘guru’), the guy who recently brought us ‘Search Engine Myth Exposed’ and ‘Preselling Secrets’. He talked about a guy he met (non-guru) who detail to him about how to do better, proper, more effective article marketing.

And for John who happens to be the creator of an Instant Article Wizard, this particular guy ‘pull him by the ear’ (literally), and made him go through every words on the sales page!

According to John, that’s very, very IMPRESSIVE…

Obviously, he got his hand on the report and the reason he send us the email was to share his ‘utter’ excitement, express his view on the report, and recommend us to get the report…through him! For a VERY special discount (almost 50%).

He said he contacted the creator of the report and they agree on the special price (with John’s list size, I’ll be surprised if the creator disagree ;)

* I got another email from this ‘Psychotactic’ guy, and he’s offering an email writing course. And the ‘price tag’ for this course was enough to cause me to sit down while reading it. It’s not expensive in my opinion BUT it’s costly.

But, what made me think two emails were enough to indicate pattern?

What was I thinking? Of course two emails wasn’t enough. Even two hundreds emails wouldn’t be enough. Two thousands…hmmm…MAYBE, but if we go on then, how many email is enough to indicate trend? Can you stand reading two hundreds or two thousands emails a day?

I know I can’t…

That’s why I settle for TWO emails. And the fact that these emails were sent by BIG names, to me that’s more than enough to indicate trend.

I leave it to you to decide on your own. For the Social Media or Web 2.0…

* First, there was this ‘Going Natural’ video from Stomper Net. After that, they ‘released’ the Social Media special classroom which experience a MAJOR glitches with Scribd. Let’s just say that ‘one tactic got kill before it was born’.

Sad but true…

But they persist with MORE than a dozen tactics under their sleeves. Hooray! If you can cough up almost $700 that is :)

Next…

* Somebody (I can’t recall who) pointed me to ‘The Guru Assassin’ (TGA). This guy really smoke man. He ‘charmed’ you just by listening to his video. His most memorable words, to me, were when he said,” Web 2.0 is not new. It’s almost 10 years old!”

Where was I all this years? Man…

——

So there you go. With all these coming in, I concluded that there’s a healthy pattern building up. Without bragging or ‘hyping’, I’m telling you, I’m on this like a hawk. I’m all over these.

If you like to join forces with me, just say so. Say something back to me (in the comment box) so that I know.

I’ll be glad to know we’re in this together :)

Are You Profitable Yet?

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

Hey there!

How is it going? Are you profitable yet? If you’ve read my yesterday’s post and take action, I’m pretty sure you are.

Why am I so confident?

It’s because I’m addressing one of the most FUNDAMENTAL things for your resale rights or affiliate business model and that is - website building.

Yup! My first two posts were actually about website building and I have my reasons for doing so:

1) Website is the first step to create your ‘presence’ online. I’ve talked about this many times so I’ve done talking. I’m taking you through the process of creating your own website - your first or hundreds - with some ’solid’ guidance.

Heck! Even if you think you just want to start with free ‘website’ like Blogger, Wordpress or Squidoo (yes, these are all websites even if you know them better as blog), there are many pointers in the guide to accelerate your understanding of website building.

And you only need to understand this ONE time. You can repeat it over and over, and produce the same outcome. Does that make sense? So read the post now

But if that not enough…

2) You need website to properly run your Resale Rights or Affiliate business. Yeah, yeah, yeah…there are ‘experts’ who pitch,” You can succeed with no product, no list, no website, bla, bla, bla…” and most probably, you’ll fall for that.

I hate to tell you this but even with a free website (it could be a free Blog) your chances to succeed is much higher especially if you’re promoting PLR, MRR or a favorite affiliate program.

And I’m dead serious about this…

That’s why I’ve decided to make ‘website building’ a priority. Skip your date. Skip your lunch…whatever but don’t skip reading my previous post and start following the steps outlined therein.

So far I’ve lead you to the most important step to take for your Resale Rights and Affiliate business - web building - and I’ve given you the reasons for that. Stop reading beyond this point and start taking meaningful action.

Actions do speak louder than words :)

Here’s Something Profitable You Can Immediately Do

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

Hey there!

Let’s just get to the point for this post shall we?

If you’re anything like me, for the past 10 months or so, I’ve read countless ebooks, articles, and listen to hours of recordings on how to make money online and how to build online business.

Allow me to tell you this: Nothing has changed since then. Nothing! Why?

Because that’s all I do - reading and listening…

So, for this year, I’m changing the game-plan. And I’m taking you with me. I can’t guarantee immediate profit from following me BUT I can promise this…

“You will profit!”

…sometimes ‘immediately’ :)

How are we going to do this?

Step 1 - Read my previous post.
Step 2 - Take the lesson (that means ‘click’ the link)
Step 3 - Visit this page…
Step 4 - Practise, practise, and practise some MORE
Step 5 - Keep in touch…

…There’s more to come.

A Great Idea To Get Started

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

Hey there,

How has it been for you?

We’re moving fast into the third week of January. For some companies, January is the first month of the first quarter. For a few others, January is the second month of the first quarter. But there are companies that consider January as the last month of their first quarter.

I’ve never worked with such companies though. Maybe not yet…

So what’s the BIG deal of this ‘first month, first quarter’ thing?

In short, it means nothing…IF you’re not having any plans worked out. But if you had planned for how your whole year will be, then all this ‘first month, first quarter’ thing means something.

At least it is a guidepost or a milestone for you to see how far you’ve come.

So, my questions for those of you who made PLANS, “How far have you come? What’s working well for you? Why? What did not work so well? Why? What have you learned so far? What can you do about it?”

That’s a lot of questions for you there. I believe you better off answering each one separately. Don’t answer in ‘one go’.

Ok…

Now I’m going to tie this up with the ‘theme’ for this blog — profit from resale rights and affiliates.

I’ve set my goals a few week before the calendar shows January 1st 2008. This year, I’ve set to earn ‘that’ much from resale rights products and promoting other products as an affiliate, and…

I’ve also set goals to earn ‘that’ much from promoting my own products through affiliates!

And that’s new to me. I’m all excited about it.

A voice inside me strongly whispered, “If I put that much effort selling products of others, why can’t I put the same amount of effort selling my own product? That would be more profitable wouldn’t it?”

Have you ever asked this yourselves?

If you have, I understand how you feel. Seriously…

I think personally, the reason why I didn’t create my own product is because I imagined all the hassle and bustle of the whole process WITHOUT going through it myself. And that’s premature.

When you think of ‘premature’, if that happens to men, they ought to be treated. I know. I sell medicine that treats ‘premature’ thingy before. You know… So, when it comes to online business (if it is at all an online business), being premature is a total waste of time and effort.

Why?

“If put that much amount of effort promoting products of others, why can’t I put the same amount of effort promoting my own products?” — The same amount of effort. Do you get me here? That’s ‘why’.

But of course, when I just started out, affiliate marketing and resale right were the most ‘convenient’ online business model to do. Eventually, I must come to my senses and start creating something of my own.

That’s what install for me this year 2008. And you? What about you?

Allow me to help you get started with a little ‘video guide’ (video is hot not, just to let you know). I believe you’ll find this video guide is useful whether you’re promoting resale right products or affiliate.

Enjoy!

Another New Year

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Hey there,

Well, I never count the days but I’m sure it was way too long.

One thousand, four hundreds and twenty-nine years to be exact, to mark one of the most historic event in Muslim history.

It was the day when the narrow was widened…
…darkness to light…
…good to better…
…weak to stronger…
…disparity to unity!

It was the turning point and worldwide, Muslims recognize this day to turn their life around.

“The best among you is whom thier day today is better than yesterday” was the immortal advice from The Holy Prophet Muhammad himself. He said that 1429 years ago and today, similar concepts could be seen in ‘kaizen’, CANi (constant and never ending improvement) or even TQM.

No fireworks. No songs. No artists singing their way into this new turning point. Only recital of Yasin, a verse from the Holy Quran and a pray right before sunset marked the dawn of the New Hijrah Year.

So, allow me…

Hijrah Year 1429

Presell Secrets

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Presell SecretsDo you know how good Preselling Secrets Really?

I know a few people have got their hands on Jonathan Leger’s Preselling Secrets report. I  know because I’ve received a few emails promoting it :)

And I got my hands on the report. So now, I’m going to try and provide what I believe is an  unbiased review of the report for the benefit of anyone who still thinking whether they  should get the report or not.

The premise is simple: presell is based on trust. But the question now is ‘How do you build trust?’ especially when promoting products not made by you i.e. as an affiliate. It’s not  hard to see that selling as an affiliate is getting tougher and tougher.

So let’s look a little deeper…

As an overview, the Preselling Secrets report basically outlined the reasons, concepts, and  ideas behind building trust BUT it works ONLY if you already know how to build mailing list  or you already have one!

Well, let’s just say he doesn’t let you go easily on this one. I wasn’t expecting this
either. I don’t know how much this report is going to appeal to you now after knowing this  but if you’re still interested, read on…

***********************************************************
PROS:
***********************************************************

- The report was written in direct, no fluff, no buff style. It’s typical Jon Leger style
With only six chapters and 21 pages, one can finished everything in a few minutes. Maybe a  lot faster if you know how to speed reading.

- It’s rich with case studies. Again, this is typical of Jon to provide his readers with his  solid case study proof. The best thing about the case studies is its originality because  Jon documented everything himself. This is a true landmark of ‘walk the talk’. Jon really  live up to his ‘trust before presell’ concept.

- I find the cost for this e-book, USD 7.00, was worth it. I don’t know if he should charge
more or less but to me, it’s reasonable and affordable. Period.

***********************************************************
CONS:
***********************************************************

- If you’ve been promoting as an affliate, don’t expect this report will solve ALL your low
income, and unprofitable dealing.

Why?

Because the report only addresses one aspect of affliate tools: using e-mails. If you’re using  other method to promote your affiliate product, all I can say is, just move on…

You can do without this report.

- Even if you have a mailing list, you’ll miss few vital stats in particular: how BIG Jon’s
mailing list is
. I mean it’s nice to see he puts the figures for click through and conversion
and earnings but would that do for just 50 persons on the list?

I think that’s common sense right?…

- I’m not too sure if EVERY affiliate has the tenacity and patience to do all Jon’s
‘building trust’ steps especially if time is running short. They do sound like they take
some times to plan and implement.

***********************************************************
VERDICT:
***********************************************************

When I first started with Internet Marketing, I was exposed by the concept of preselling by  Dr. Ken Evoy (Site Build It). And after that, every Tom, Dick, and Harry are talking about  preselling. While preselling is a great concept, actual preselling is not easy, however,  this report point a thing or two on what preselling is all about - with emails.

Based on this I deem Preselling Secrets report to be well worth a look for anyone looking to presell using email campaign and get behind the driving force of preselling - trust.

If you’re promoting products as an affiliate with mailing list or planning to soon,
preselling might just be your success factor, and all preselling secrets are revealed at:

http://karungwang.com/recommends/presell-secrets

Hope this help.
